Applique Purse

Last February i sew one applique bag, the size of a LV bag (Monogram Canvas Pochette Accessoires).  To compliment this bag, on Tuesday 7th, i sew one applique purse as shown above to match.  It took me 2.5 hours to complete sewing this purse (cutting, ironing and sewing both by hand and machine).

Clip Purse

I have made 2 new clip purses as a christmas gift for my close friends during my off-day on 06122010.  Next month i will also share with all the template on how to sew and make purses.

Sharing: Simple Holiday Gift Bags

Holiday Gift Bags/Elegant Gift Bags

Yes, as always my yearly gift paper-bags are with different embellishments ^.,^ .. For this project, I bought my brown paper-bags at SSF Sri Damansara (very cheap for 100-200 pieces in a bundle).

By adding simple embellishments or ribbons, ordinary brown paper bags are transformed into elegant wrappings. Lace ribbons through two small holes in the flap of a bag, and tie a millinery fruit into the knot. └(^.^)┐

Sharing: How to make 3-D Christmas Tree Card

I always love to make personalized greetings card for family & friends and i have made this 3-D Christmas Tree Card from marthastewart:

They are easy to make and i love them esp. made them in RED and green papers hehee ..Try it and have fun (^.^*)

Tools & Materials:

Card stock or blank store-bought cards
Scissors
Art paper
Bone folder
Glue

Fine brush
Star-shaped hole punch (optional)

1. Fold a piece of card stock in half or use a blank store-bought card. Cut art paper into rectangles of graduated lengths and widths (adding about 1/4 inch to widths and 1 to 2 inches to lengths).

2. Pleat each rectangle accordion-style, making same-size folds in each; score folds with a bone folder. Open card, and center rectangles in spine of card. Glue down end folds to form a pop-up tree that expands as you open card.

3. To make the "bucket" that holds the tree, fold another paper rectangle into four accordion folds. Glue end folds on either side of card's spine.

4. If you wish, use a star-shape hole punch to make a star for top of tree. Fold star at the center, and glue both sides to card.

Sharing: Nice not to share - Cloth Gift Wrap

I am using Cloth Gift Wrap for my christmas gifts this year and for those who know me know my favourite colour right?? and will show to all later during christmas photoshoot ok hehehe .. (^. <). In Japan, the art of wrapping gifts in cloth is called furoshiki, and it's brilliantly eco-friendly. Secure open ends with a button, safety pin, or knot.
